Reconciliation a two-way deal
Article Abstract:
The shocking scale of Aboriginal disadvantage is widely documented for several years and death rates are twice those of the total population due to poverty and infant mortality, which is twice the national rate. It is suggested that moving beyond welfare, by creating financial and social networks and partnerships, will bring self-sufficiency and reconciliation for the Aborigines, which are Australia's first people.
