Reconsidering the strategic implications of decision comprehensiveness
Article Abstract:
The effects of comprehensiveness on firm performances is difficult to analyze because of the nonequivalent and complex nature of the relationships and the too general nature of instability to serve as a reliable moderator. The author has proposed ways to characterize organizational information environments in order to facilitate identification of precise real-world contexts across which the value of comprehensiveness varies.
