Sales force automation
Article Abstract:
Applying sales force automation (SFA) to a commissioned field sales force is a formidable task as evidenced by failure rates of roughly 70%-75% that have been noted by industry experts for SFA implementations across business sectors. This may be due largely to the fact that sales people generally consider SFA too constraining to adopt. A study describes the successful implementation and deployment of SFA to a force composed of more than 1,000 sales representatives using project management techniques.

Audience message boards
Article Abstract:
Audience Message Boards can help project teams deal with project management processes that include communications planning, information distribution and risk response development. In addition, it can be useful to project managers in customer communication and in explaining the task and processes to team members if a change in management happens. The use of Audience Message Boards lowers that probability of product or service failure.
