Shareholders first? An alien idea for some
Article Abstract:
Peter Drucker wrote 'The Pension Fund Revolution' in 1975 about his theory of corporate philosophy and its global trend toward a shareholder focus. He suggested that the United States and Great Britain were the only nations whose companies made business decisions based solely upon their shareholders' interests. He proposed that other countries would eventually adopt similar corporate philosophies due to a crisis in social security funds.

Some uninvestigated antecedents of retailer exit intention
Article Abstract:
A study of hardware retailers and their primary wholesalers was conducted to identify the factors that lead to retailers' exit intention from wholesaler relationships. The results showed that retailer revenue, revenue per employee and the number of competing stores in the retailer's service area negatively affect retailers' exit intention, while return on investment positively affects retailers' exit intention.
