Prepaid pager-service cards to be sold at 7-Eleven stores

Southland Corp. announced that it will test a new prepaid numeric pager-service card at 7-Eleven stores all over Florida. Southland will sell the cards to customers. The cards will provide local-market pager services for $12.99 for up to 400 pages per month. The cards can also be purchased for $29.99 for up to 1,200 pages over a three month period. No age restrictions will be imposed by Southland.

Quebecor Inc. names son of late founder as president and CEO
Article Abstract:
Montreal-based Quebecor Inc. announced Pierre Karl Peladeau will succeed Jean Neveu as president and CEO of the publisher, printer and forestry group, pending approval April 29 after its annual meeting. Pierre Karl's brother, Erik Peladeau, will move into the vice-chairman slot. John Neveu moves up to chairman. The firm's current chairman, Albert Poissant, will retire.
