Strategic training initiative (STI) process
Article Abstract:
Introducing organizational change will often necessitate the development of new communication and implementation methods. A plan of action should be developed following an evaluation of any training needs required to meet the new objectives. The strategic training initiative is a useful process for adapting business objectives into a training plan. The necessary skills to achieve the final goals will be established once the objectives have been clearly identified, by the accumulation of information from interviews. Deficits in skills should be identified through discussions with employees.
