Strategy and the crystal cycle
Article Abstract:
Industries that involve large capital investment and rapid technological changes like the Flat Panel Display Industry show a cyclic behavior creating an entry level at every downturn. Four cycles or crystal cycle has already been witnessed in this industry. The strategies that firms adopt for entering into this fast growing industry are discussed.
