Talks begin on NAFTA amendments
Article Abstract:
Trade representatives from the US, Canada and Mexico met in Washington, DC, Mar 17-18, 1993, to discuss proposed amendments to the NAFTA. The trade talks were reopened at the request of Pres Clinton who stated that the NAFTA must address environmental and employment issues before he will sign it.
