A meta-analysis of doctoral dissertations in purchasing
Article Abstract:
Academic dissertations in purchasing from the period of 1987 to 1995 were subjected to meta-analysis to assess the level of intellectual development the field has undergone in the period. Results reveal the field of research to be deficient in terms of principal standards and accordant hypotheses. However, a favorable trend in the direction of corroborative and causal research designs and the abundance of marketing, organizational, and economic theories to account for the occurrence of purchasing can be noted.

Application of TQM principles in the International Technology Transfer process of industrial production plants: a conceptual framework
Article Abstract:
It is possible to use the concept of Total Quality Management (TQM) and its principles within the process of International Technology Transfer (ITT) to ensure that the imported production system is properly managed and performs well. This approach has a direct impact on competitiveness at company, industry and national levels. It is possible that the intensity of TQM applicability increases with the increased use of internalized mechanisms for ITT.
