The Asia-Pacific engine revs again
Article Abstract:
There is a strong case for outsourcing of services from countries in the Indian sub-continent as Australia has always propagated free trade and protection of domestic industries and the outrage against outsourcing in unjustified. The Asia-Pacific region, which was reeling under a series of economic problems from the early 1990s is showing signs of recovery in the early twenty-first century and may replace Western Europe as the second largest economy in the world.

Service costs to steady
Article Abstract:
Australia's property and business services industry enjoyed a revenue of about $115 billion in 2003, this financial year, and is 33rd the second-largest contributor, at 10.4%, to the nation's gross domestic product after manufacturing (10.6%). Statistics show the rising and falling prices over the past five years of various service providers, but on the average service costs are steady.
