The World Wide Web has introduced a new way of thinking for marketing and advertising professionals. Behavioral science plays a key role in the marketing psychology. Research in this field has led to many key implementations on electronic commerce Web sites. These include a shopping cart icon. Also, black and white advertising tends to be more successful on the Web. Analysts are now looking for a way to tailor sites to target specific individuals as they view a Web site.
