After the Iraq war and the 'Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome' (SARS) outbreak, Australia experienced the worst six months for inbound tourism that anyone can remember. However, in the second half of 2003, Australia's meetings, incentives, conventions and exhibitions market (MICE), is expected to do a record business in wake of international conventions, conferences and international congresses due to be held in Australia.
