The impact of the European Quality Award model on organizational performance: a Northern Ireland perspective
Article Abstract:
The European Quality Award model has generated improvements in organizational performance in Northern Ireland. A questionnaire determined that organizations are using quality management procedures such as self-assessment, process involvement and control, employee participation, and customer and supplier input. These procedures have resulted in lower defect rates and faster delivery times.

A more subjective approach to business improvement and organizational change evaluation
Article Abstract:
Subjective and less quantifiable measures can be used to develop effective quality management models. They account for situational factors such as stakeholder perception toward strategy modifications, initiative outcomes, staff changes and cross-functional effectiveness. These perceptions can be used as indicators for future managerial decisions and actions.
