The intersection of organizational identity, knowledge, and practice: attempting strategic change via knowledge grafting
Article Abstract:
A study examined the attempt of a high-technology R&D organization to transform into a market-oriented organization by ograftingo new, nontechnological knowledge. The results indicate that intersection of organizational identity, knowledge, and practice blocked the development of the new knowledge.

R and D alliances and firm performance: The impact of technological diversity and alliance organization on innovation
Article Abstract:
The effectiveness of moderate technological diversity to allow the firms to gain from their research and development (R&D) alliances is discussed. It is suggested that the smooth transfer of tacit knowledge between the firms in R&D collaboration is dependent on the moderate form model.
