The logic of political action: an experiment with the epistemology of the particular
Article Abstract:
The logic of action that explains political behavior in terms of organizational change is analyzed using a constructivist method based on the interpretation of initiating actor. Also, the limitations in current conceptualizations of political behavior are shown and a framework to assist future research in this area is developed. These goals are achieved by examining an account of political behavior from a single initiator, who is responsible for a particular organizational change, in relation to a single target individual, who is blocking that change.
