Article Abstract:
Marketing has become more expensive and less efficient as the industry continues to rely on brand management rather than taking advantage of the Internet as a means to direct electronic marketing. The books call on marketing companies to broaden strategies to include process-based approaches and to create dialogues with customers, who will eventually take on an active role in marketing.
