Forever Living Products, manufacturer of bee products and products containg the aloe vera plant has a unique motivational system for its salespeople and distributors. The company, which owns two marinas and three resorts in Western states, lets salespeople and distributors who have reached their quotas take all expense paid vacations at one of the company's vacation spots. The trips include all expenses, including spending money, and also includes family members. Such incentives as free vacations have helped the company's sale figures grow 8,117 percent in just four years.

Polling: it's broke, but how to we fix it?

Article Abstract:

It is clear that techniques used by pollsters in the UK to assess public opinion in the run-up to the forthcoming general election are extremely unreliable. Opinion polls were very misleading in the run-up to the 1992 general election, but pollsters did not respond by adopting new techniques. The sampling technique was changed to eliminate the built-in bias towards the Labour party, but no significant changes were made. It is very wise not to pay too much attention to opinion polls.

Prolactinoma

Article Abstract:

The diagnosis and treatment of prolactinoma are reviewed, based on the case of a 22-year-old woman. Prolactinoma is a benign pituitary tumor that can cause infertility in women because it interferes with the sex hormones that cause ovulation. Bromocriptine and cabergoline are the major medications and surgery may be effective if the drugs don't work.
