Artist Caroline Smith has been using her World Wide Web site as a virtual gallery to showcase and sell Australian arts and crafts to the corporate gift market. Her site features 250 artworks by 25 artists. Smith uses mostly direct mail to market her web site. Smith's web site has been given permission to use the Craftmark, awarded by Craft Australia, denoting that the products offered meet its standards.
