Xylophone maker Garry Kvistad designed a set of perfectly tuned wind chimes out of scrap aluminum tubing. By sending samples to radio and TV hosts, he created an instant demand. Now chimes tuned individually by computer in his 100-person factory are sold around the US and to export markets.
