This is significant for a number of reasons as described in this article, including: Prince Jefri Bolkiah, the head of the company, and former finance minister is alleged to have squandered over $40 billion in state funds, and his is the brother to Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah, the country's leader. The article also discusses the country's current economic situation.
