A Multi-Objective Genetic Algorithm for mixed-model sequencing on JIT assembly lines
Article Abstract:
A Multi-Objective Genetic Algorithm (MOGA) is introduced for searching Pareto-optimal frontier of a mixed-model sequencing problem in Just-In-Time environment. The main objective of this research is to optimize the production rates and number of setups simultaneously, which are typically inversely co-related with each other.
