A Spell-Binding System for Magical Graphics
Article Abstract:
The Graphics Magician from Penguin Software develops high-resolution graphics for Apple computers and is so good that Penguin uses it to develop graphics for its games. It offers users the choice of 108 colors for filling, eight brushes (two give an air-brush effect) and line drawing in different colors. Graphics are created via joysticks or paddles and stored images take up three disc sectors as compared to the thirty-four sectors normally required in other high-resolution programs. Animation can be effected and The Graphics Magician has an option that shows how graphics will display at machine language speed, which is useful for those developing games. Sample screen displays are included.
