Nicole Ponsardin created the champagne company Veuve Clicquot Ponsardin, invented new techniques in her industry, grew her business through acquisition and exporting and developed a brand identity. Using Madame Clicquot as a role model who is the ideal sponsor of the world's top award for excellence among women executives, the company now runs woman-of-the-year competitions around the world.
