A map for all seasons
Article Abstract:
Australia's National Resource Information Center (NRIC) has developed a computerized mapping technology with a variety of applications. The center gathers cartographical data from various sources and converts them into digital form. One advantage of these colorful high-resolution maps over conventional ones is that they can be simultaneously compared and overlapped. NRIC's mapping technology has been successfully applied to crop yield and water resource management.
