Soft-tronik (ST) (Ostrava, Czech Republic), hardware and software firm, increased its turnover by 82% to 545 mil Kc in 1999 compared to 1998. In the field of PC products, the firm arranged a distribution contract with the multinational companies IBM and Lotus in 1999. The main aim of the firm's distribution co-operation with Motorola (US) and Siemens (Germany) in the field of networks and communications is the assertion of their solutions in the itegration of data and voice services, Voice over IP.

SAP CR: growth of proceeds
Article Abstract:
SAP CR (Prague, Czech Republic), software company, increased its proceeds by 33% to 1.23 bil Kc in 1999 compared to 927.5 mil Kc in 1998. The company is the largest supplier of corporate application software in the Czech Republic. In 1999 it had a 52% share on the market. In 1999 SAP CR launched the system SAP Business Information Warehouse (SAP BW), an efficient tool for the support of decision making. Besides, the firm introduced the system SAP Public Sector for state management and the system SAP Utility for public service companies in the field of sector solutions to the domestic market in 1999.

JBA (Czech Republic), software and IT firm, saw a turnover of 173.9 mil Kc in 1998, 67.3% more compared to 103.9 mil Kc in 1997. JBA implements the information and control system JBA System 21 at firms. The system is utilised by 35 Czech firms. In the Czech Republic, the firm was set up in 1992. JBA is a subsidiary of JBA International (UK), focused on the production of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
