Article Abstract:

Thailand lags behind other developing Asian countries in its educational standards. Other Asian countries began improving their education system at the beginning of their boom years, but the average Thai worker has had only four to five years of education. The government is aware of the need for higher standards, but it is in the middle of an economic crisis. Industry involvement in training and education offers a way forward. One good example of this is the technical training centre on the Hi-tech Industrial Estate which has funding from companies on the estate.

Swiss nationals do not have to go to the US to achieve an American education. Several primary and secondary schools offer such type of curricula and counselling for students to be able to reintegrate themselves into a school in the US. They pride themselves on giving a high standard of education because of the individual attention that they focus on each student. Thus, university placement is assured.

What are student education and educational related needs?

Article Abstract:

Research into why students follow higher education studies and what their priorities are when choosing a higher educational institutions, is presented. It describes how a questionnaire was developed for the research and details data collection. It found that gaining a well rounded education was the most important factor in following higher education studies.
