Money for nothing
Article Abstract:
Banyumas Mulia Abadi is a company behind a pyramid scheme which has attracted 5% of the population of Medan, Sumatra, Indonesia. The mayor of Medan is concerned about the scheme and has issued a warning, yet new customers are still being attracted to invest. The scheme can only last as long as there are new customers, and there could already be a move by existing customers to invest their money in safer schemes. Medan could be affected by disturbances as a result of the scheme.
