AUSTRIA: ANTI-TRUST APPROVAL FOR MAGAZINE MERGER
Article Abstract:
Austria's Cartel Court has approved the merger of the magazines of the News group, which is controlled by Gruner + Jahr of Germany, and ZVB, a subsidiary Kurier. The group emerging from the merger will be owned 52.5% by Gruner + Jahr, 30% by ZVB and 17.5% by the Fellner foundation. Kurier, which owns the entire stock of ZVB, is owned 50.5% by the Raiffeisen group and 49.5%.

AUSTRIA: PIPER TO BUY GRAZ YARD
Article Abstract:
Piper of the US is to buy the repair yard at Graz airport in Austria from Austrian Airlines (AUA). The deal is part of the acquisition by the US aircraft maker of Austrian Aircraft Corporation (AAC), which is owned 51% by AUA, 26% by Bohler Uddeholm and 23% by Fischer Advanced Composite Components (FACC). The yard repairs small private aircraft.
