AUSTRIA: CONSUMER SATISFACTION WITH INTERNET PROVIDERS
Article Abstract:
According to the consumer protection organisation VKI, about 30% of Austrian internet users are fully content with their access provider. Another 21% describe the service as "good". The most frequent complaint (71% of respondents) is problems with access to the service. 65% are dissatisfied with the problem-solving capabilities of the providers. The quality of the connection is considered dissatisfactory or poor by 46% of those interviewed. There are 180 internet access providers in Austria.

Wiener Linien, the Vienna public transport company, has 17 new Ulf low-floor tram sets <30 units?> in its depot, which have no operating licence. 48 such trams are already being used, while in the remaining ones the problem of emergency exit remains unsolved.
