Austria: Sch 25bn per year for infrastructure

Austrian minister for transport has announced that the government will provide Sch 25bn per year for the extension of the railways and roads. The sum is to include Sch 13bn for the country's road network and Sch 12bn for the rail network. The government is to present detailed plans for the infrastructure in January 2002, following a period of consultation with the provinces.
