Panmure Gordon to buy ThinkEquity

Panmure Gordon and Co. of the United Kingdom is to acquire ThinkEquity Partners L.L.C. of San Francisco for $62.3 million. The British securities company will be purchasing the American investment company. ThinkEquity Partners posted $2.8 million of profit and $64.3 million in revenues for 2006.

Leonardo adds to its expertise in Italy market

Italy's Gruppo Banca Leonardo S.p.A. will buy the Rasfin Sim subsidiary of German insurance firm Allianz SE. The deal is the financial advisory company's second in under a month. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
