Accountancy firms attracting high calibre professionals
Article Abstract:
The increasing involvement of accountancy firms in corporate finance has encouraged some corporate financiers to move from investment banking into the accountancy sector. Some firms employ former bank financiers in order to service their increasing business involvement in corporate finance. Many firms are willing to pay higher salaries, than previously, some offering bonuses as an incentive for good results. Smaller accountancy firms have to look to banks or to their competitors for more staff. The larger firms are often able to employ sufficient senior staff from within their own ranks.
