Against anti-dumping
Article Abstract:
There is a danger that the anti-dumping argument can be used as a way of imposing protectionist policies which result in duties that may be imposed over the long term. Companies are encourage to charge high prices, which hits consumers. Predatory pricing is not common, and where it occurs, it should be tackled by measures other than anti-dumping regulations. National anti-trust bodies can tackle cases of predatory pricing. The European Union and US are increasingly using antidumping measures, and this can lead to retaliation.
