A new generation cod trawl developed by John Willy Valdermarsen at Norway's Marine Research Institute and Kurt Hansen at Sintef flume tank in Hirtshals is to be installed on a trawler called Cape Horn that operates in Alaska. Valdermarsen explains the advantages of the trawl.
