Allianz reports 64% profit rise

Allianz Aktiengesellschaft Holding of Germany posted a soaring 64 percent increase in the second quarter net profit to 2.28 billion Euros ($2.92 billion) compared with 1.30 billion Euros last year. Revenues were due to overall operating improvements across the board.
