America's investment famine
Article Abstract:
Capital investment in industry has been low in the US for two reasons. The US has a macroeconomic environment that is less stable than those of other industrial countries such as Japan and Germany. Legal limitations on ownership allow for only small investments and discourage concentrated ownership.

Article Abstract:
Heavyweight boxing in the last century has been dominated by American fighters. In other classes, such as lightweight and featherweight, non-Americans have just as much chance as winning. American dominate because there are more experienced trainers and more bouts.
