America's vigilante values
Article Abstract:
The US steadfastly refuses to enact strict gun control or an outright ban because it is claimed that this would clash with the constitution. Ownership of guns inspires a vigilante attitude. Courts have also shown vigilantism by declaring the US has a legal right to kidnap criminal suspects from foreign countries.

Politicians in many cities want to outlaw water guns that shoot out massive powerful sprays. This move has been the result of shootings that have accorded when kids with real guns have been irritated by the toys. Outlawing the real guns would make more sense.

Lenient federal and state regulations make it ridiculously easy to purchase a gun or become a gun dealer in Virginia. The constitutional right to bear arms and the powerful National Rifle Association make real gun control an almost impossible goal.
