Asia's corporate governance revolution
Article Abstract:
Corporate governance in Asia is expected to undergo significant improvements with the advent of Internet-based services. Instead of rendering annual reports, information technology would allow companies to create electronic dialogue between managers and stockholders. The new corporate governance concept would also require a change in accountability standards, so as to create better shareholder value for investors.
