Autopal will receive investment incentives
Article Abstract:
Autopal (Novy Jicin, Czech Republic), car component manufacturer, wants to invest a total of 33.5 mil USD in an increase in its capacities in 2000-2004. The firm will receive an investment incentive of the Czech government for the investment. The investment incentive will ensure a five-year income-tax holiday, duty-free technology imports and purpose subsidies worth a total of 24 mil Kc for the setting up of new jobs, training and re-qualification. Autopal, which manufactures car lighting equipment and air conditioning, is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the motor company Ford Motor (US).

Trustfin-Vanguard receives an investment incentive
Article Abstract:
Trustfin-Vanguard (Prague, Czech Republic), knitting machine manufacturer, wants to start to manufacture medium-diameter knitting machines of the type BodyWear in Vsetin, the Czech Republic, in 2001. The project will set up 192 new jobs. The firm will invest a total of CEK 422.5 mil in the project and can count on a state investment incentive. Uniplet (Trebic, Czech Republic) participated in the development of the knitting machines BodyWear.
