Carbon intensity and economic development 1961-91: a comment on Robert and Grimes
Article Abstract:
Authors J. Timmons Roberts and Peter E. Grimes attempt to illustrate the existence and behavior of a Kuznets curve or an inverted U shaped function with respect to an environmental index to development as reflected by income growth. While they make a worthwhile contribution in terms of the study of temporal changes in cross-sectional environment-development relationships, there is a problem with their empirical results and implications on their overall conclusions which stems from their model selection for empirical analysis.

Self-reported patient outcomes after ACL reconstruction with allograft tissue
Article Abstract:
Self-reported patient outcomes after ACL reconstruction with allograft tissues are compared at [greater than or equal to] 5 yr (group 1) and at 2-4 yr (group 2) after surgery. Self-reported outcomes were not found to differ between groups for the IKDC Subjective Knee Evaluation or for the KOS-ADLS score, although group 1 displayed decreased mean KOS-SAS scores, suggesting decreased perceived sporting activity knee function at [greater than or equal to] 5 year surgery.
