APITCO'S BIO-WASTE PROJECT EVOKES GOOD RESPONSE
Article Abstract:
The proposed project of the Andhra Pradesh Industrial and Technical Consultancy Organisation (Apitco) to transfer technology for converting agri and municipal waste into biofertilisers of superior quality has received good response. Around 11 entrepreneurs from Andhra Pradesh have responded to the offer made by Apitco in June 1998. Apitco, a joint venture between IDBI, IFCI, ICICI, APIDC and APSFC, has agreed to transfer the technology as per an agreement signed with Terra Pharma Biotech Limited of Bangalore. Report to the emperor
Article Abstract:
General Douglas MacArthur's speeches on the occasion of the Japanese surrender ending World War II exemplified dignity, magnanimity, and a deep desire for peace. A member of the Japanese delegation recalls the moving events of that day, his sorrow for his country's losses, and his wonder at the character of the man accepting the surrender. Ultimately he concludes that the war was spiritual, and was won by the greater virtue of the American ideal rather than by superior force of arms.
