Violent crime in Albania has increased by as much as 70% in the past year, as people are getting more desperate as conditions worsen. Food, water and electricity are in short supply. Without foreign aid, it is doubtful that the Albanians will be able to feed themselves.

Article Abstract:
Foreign language films have dropped from 7% of the American film market in 1986 to just 0.75% in 1996. Reasons for this drop in interest include fewer theaters willing to show foreign films, discontent with subtitles and dubbing and lack of top quality foreign films.
