Bargaining power and information technology in African-European business relationships: case of the Dutch flower auctions
Article Abstract:
A case study of the East African Flower company auctions is presented to examine the effect of the bargaining power and information technology (IT) on the evolution of the business relationship between African and European businesses. The results indicated that the opportunities created by IT enhanced the economic value of the product and service offerings for the African flower growers to enter the European flower markets.
