Belgacom unit in France to cut phone rates

Belgacom France will soon announce reductions in long-distance and international telephone rates for business customers. The company's international rates will drop an average of 7.5% effective April 1, 1999. Aplan will also be introduced by the company that permits customers to call within an expanded region at reduced calling rates.
