Bell Mobility listens to the music

Bell Mobility resorted to a music promotion with YTV to reached its target audience of tweens to teens and some wannabes that are barely out of diapers. It collaborated with YTV which tagged its advertisement, PsykoBlast, with Bell Mobility paging while directing its viewers to YTV PsykoBlast Web site. Viewers who visited the WEb site were given the opportunity to win a pager and air time provided by Bell Mobility. The collaboration has worked out and both parties are negotiating a long-term deal.

Olay tries word-of-mouth tact

Procter and Gamble Co has forged a partnership with The Women's Group- Marketing Solutions of Toronto, Ontario to create a sampling program for its Oil of Olay products. The program, called Olay Tell-A-Friend, permits women who have used Olay products to order a free gift set for friends. The marketing approach is based on women's tendency to act on beauty product referrals.
