Control of the port in Sebastopol, on the Crimean peninsula, is disputed by Russia and Ukraine even though it is not used much for trade. The former Soviet fleet is still stationed in Sebastopol but is not owned by either country. Russia is putting pressure on Ukraine to yield the port and fleet.
