'Bigger quotas if you fish smarter'

Conference at Dundalk, organized as part of the Irish Presidency of the EU, stated that the fishermen could get bigger quotas if they switch to more environmentally friendly catching methods. It was suggested that the fishermen need to devise, test and implement technical measures to aid conservation.
