Belize axes 300 boats
Article Abstract:
Belize long classified as IUU (Illegal, Unreported and Unregulated) country in fishing registry has de - listed 300 fishing vessels. The registry is making efforts to shed its past image and is taking steps to comply with the international fishing regulations. Angelo Mouzouropoulos who took over as director general and senior deputy registry of Merchant Marine Registry of Belize is behind in these efforts.

Sweden Baltic cod stock rising
Article Abstract:
Fishermen of Sweden are sure cod stocks are picking up because they have a fixed quota for the catch for a week based on the size of their vessel; they are able to catch this quota by middle of the week. The stocks will reduce from May for the next few months.
