Bill of wrongs
Article Abstract:
Former business associate of President Bill Clinton, Susan McDougal, has been acquitted on a charge of obstruction of justice, and the jury was unable to decide on contempt charges. McDougal argued that prosecutor Ken Starr sought to unseat the president, and this was his goal, not justice. Meanwhile, a court in Arkansas has decided that President Clinton was in contempt of court by giving false testimony, and obstructed justice by not allowing Paula Jones to obtain information that could have helped her pursue a case of sexual harassment.
