Both Turkish and German?
Article Abstract:
Germany has welcomed refugees, but citizenship has been difficult to obtain. Some Turks may be born in Germany but do not seek German citizenship since the process is complex and difficult. Turks came to work in Germany and were initially not expected to stay. Race relations have sometimes been poor, and there have been attacks on Turkish hostels. Turks fear that they are expected to renounce their language and religion by those who claim that they should integrate. The citizenship law should help promote progress in healing divisions in German society.
